A Mural for Elaine
In the small town of Elaine, AR in Phillips County at the intersection of Main St and Oak St, Thrive Inc (Helena AR) painted a mural in collaboration with the Elaine Community Center. The area is underfunded and many of the surrounding buildings were left to crumble and collapse: a problem which the Elaine Community center and Thrive Inc. hoped to combat (at least slightly) with the installation of this mural. It was also an effort to boost moral for the inhabitants by incorporating local traditions, such as the ATV rider.
